Community Forum on landscaping in the High Country set for Thursday

What landscaping questions and concerns might folks have as summer and the peak growing season approaches? Answers will be forthcoming when Our Future Summit hosts a community roundtable on the “ABCs of Landscaping in the High Country” from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at the Community & Senior Center near Frisco.Topics to be covered include water use and conservation, xeriscaping, noxious and ornamental weed identification and management, as well as reforestation in a post beetle-kill environment.Co-moderators Howard Hallman and Scott Hummer will be drawing upon sound advice from a variety of local experts, including landscape architect Jon Harrington, master gardener Marie Roberts, landscape forester Brad Piehl as well as representatives from the National Conservation Resource Service and the Summit County Weed Program.
