Continental Divide Land Trust to hold open space event

Continental Divide Land Trust invites the public to help celebrate open space protection at “Suds & Dogs for Mountains and Bogs – A Celebration of the Future of Open Space,” which will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the ranch home of Tony and Kathy Snyder, located north of Silverthorne.This is a casual evening to celebrate successes in open space protection and to learn what the future holds. There will be presentations from the Land Trust and local government open space programs, along with volunteer recognition awards. The Land Trust will provide the “suds and dogs” (beer and hot dogs), snacks and soft drinks. Attendees are urged to arrive in time to catch the sunset from the Snyders’ deck.The suggested donation for the event is $12 per person or $20 for two people for Land Trust members, or the basic membership donation of $35 per couple or family for nonmembers.Continental Divide Land Trust requests that attendees respond by Wednesday in order to receive directions.
