Copper Metro District seeks board member

A recent resignation has created a vacancy on the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District (CMCMD) Board of Directors. The remaining directors wish to appoint a replacement to this seat at the special meeting scheduled for Dec. 12.

The appointee will serve the balance of the unexpired portion of the term of the former director, which is the period through May 4, 2004.

The appointee must qualify as an eligible elector of the district under the following conditions:

a. The individual must be a registered voter of the state of Colorado, and

b. The individual must reside at Copper Mountain or own property at Copper Mountain.

Interested individuals should write a letter of interest by Dec. 3 to the CMCMD Board of Directors, P.O. Box 3002, Copper Mountain, CO 80443, . The letter may also be e-mailed to eablackcmd@earthlink.net.
