Copper Mountain releases schedule to kick off summer season on June 10
Copper Mountain Resort has announced it will kick off the summer season starting on June 10 with a summer full of activities, events, programs and on-mountain meetups.
Copper Mountain is offering various activities to keep people busy during the upcoming season, including chairlift rides into the high-Alpine, hikes that weave through meadows and rocky terrain and the opportunity to ride an expanded network of mountain bike trails.
For those who want to stay close to the base of the mountain, Copper also offers the Copper Creek Golf Course, the Woodward Wrecktangle obstacle course, go-karts, bumper boats, a zipline, a bungee jump and a climbing wall.
Outside of activities, Copper Mountain also has several events planned for the summer, including on the Red, White, Brews & Tunes presented by 10 Barrel from July 3-4, the 10 Barrel Smashfest golf tournament on Aug. 20, and weekly outdoor recreation meetups.
Copper Mountain will close out the season with its Labor Day weekend celebration Union Peak Festival, which will be held from Sept. 9-11. The event will celebrate the convergence of sport, community and art with three days of live music performances, interactive art installations, sports demonstrations and community gatherings.
The festival will be concluded each night with free concerts from X Ambassadors on Sept. 9 and Cold War Kids on Sept. 10. The headliner for Sunday, Sept. 11 will be announced at a later date.
More information including pricing on summer activity passes, mountain bike passes and golf season passes will be available soon and updated on CopperColorado.com.
