Copper Mountain’s BeeLine lift-cutting idea creates preferred class of guests

Jamie Brown, Frisco

My family and I have had Copper Mountain passes for the past three years. I am not happy about the BeeLine idea, and I am glad you wrote a story about it.

I think the pass just creates another preferred class of guest on the mountain that further serves to antagonize the skier/rider population by creating more of a headache at the lifts.

Would it be too much to ask that everyone just wait their turn at the lift line? Perhaps rewarding the early rising hard-core with first tracks instead of selling that right?

I wrote to Copper about it, and to its credit, it responded courteously. However it didn’t seem to be of a mind to consider changing anything.
