Copper’s superpipe to be closed this week
February 24, 2008
Copper Mountain’s Main Vein Superpipe will be closed Monday, Feb. 25, re-opening Friday, Feb. 29. Copper’s Park and Pipe team, along with Snow Park Technologies, will be rebuilding the Main Vein Superpipe.
The Superpipe has grown in width since its opening on Nov. 24. Daily grooming and cutting of the Superpipe has caused it to naturally gain nearly 20 feet in width. The Catalyst Terrain Park and all other Copper terrain parks will be open during this time.
