Coroner-elect thanks election staff; promises to abide by training edict passed by voters

Joanne Richardson, Summit County coroner-elect

I want to extend my gratitude to Clerk and Recorder Cheri Brunvand and Elections Administrator Vicky Stecklein for doing such an outstanding job counting ballots on Tuesday night and well into Wednesday as well.

I was pleased to see that Referendum C passed. It is a positive step to organize and educate the coroners of this state in a consistent manner. I appreciate the voters making the effort to vote for me in this election.

You can be assured that I will perform the job to the best of my ability and experience. It is a job I truly desired and campaigned hard to achieve. I learned a tremendous amount about our political system and had many wonderful people assisting me with campaign experience.

There are too many names to mention, but you all know how I feel. Thanks to you all.
