Cost of Living Study on Thursday

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Northwest Colorado Council of Governments will hold a workshop to present the results of the 2009 Cost of Living Study on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Summit County Community and Senior Center.

Cost of living studies compare differences in the cost to purchase a typical “market basket” of goods among different communities. This info can be valuable to local governments, businesses, and residents. This study provides valuable info to all the towns in NWCCOG’s membership both in their function as an employer as well as their role in analyzing local housing and economic trends.

The workshop is FREE, but registration is required. To register, email rlunney@nwc.cog.co.us or call Rachel Lunney at (970) 468-0295 x106.
