Costa Rican adventure topic of Friends of the Library talk

“Aventura Costa Rica” is the next slide show and talk presented by the Friends of the Libraries at 7 p.m. Friday in the Blue River Room of the North Branch Library in Silverthorne. This is a free presentation sponsored by the Friends of the Summit County Libraries.Last year Barbara and Ernie Werren traveled to Costa Rica on a tour and experienced many adventures. Ernie will present the slide show and talk. The couple began their trip in the capital, San Jose, then visited a volcano, went rafting, saw many birds and other wildlife and experienced a zip line tour through the forest canopy. The talk is free, however donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. Money raised helps defray budget cuts and assists with future purchases of books, computers and other materials. For information, call the North Branch Library at (970) 468-5887.
