Summit County police blotter: BB guns, bitten noses and broken windows

Breckenridge Police responded to a report by a couple who had recently returned home to find their window damaged from "BB guns."

July 20

• Police cited an individual with trespassing after they were found sleeping in a bathroom at the Riverwalk Center.

• Breckenridge police investigated reports of a stolen purse from a bar on Main Street. They found and arrested a suspect on Monday.

July 19

• Breckenridge police found a missing wallet on Sunday.

July 18

• Police gave out a ticket for intoxication after someone urinated in a bar in Breckenridge.

July 17

• Police received reports of a window being shot with a BB gun a few months ago. The homeowners just came into town on Friday.

• A Dillon resident went to the hospital for a gnarled nose at 12:40 a.m., after a friend’s dog bit him.

• Breckenridge police responded to reports of a bear going through a dumpster near South Ridge Street. The bear was gone when police arrived.

July 15

• A dog ran away from home up to Peak 8 in Breckenridge on Wednesday afternoon. It was found running around the Alpine Slide.
