Criticism of Mayfield is off mark; Bush has blood on his hands

RE: Stephen Goddard’s letter criticizing columnist Rich Mayfield.

Your criticism is so off the mark. Apparently you disregard the abundant remarks of the Conservative Christian Right and President George W. Bush’s immersion in its religiosity.

To spin Bush’s statements as based on a logical reality show you can not distinguish between faith and reality.

Bush is a killer; witness his certainty in executing death row inmates who were often not given fair trials.

But worse, he does not do the actual killing himself, using surrogates and finding justification by any means.

Unfortunately, Iraq is just another instance where he can kill with impunity. But, rest assured, he will be accused as a war criminal and if he carries out this unnecessary war, he may be accused of genocide.

That is one of the reasons he would not agree to an international court of law.
