Crow added to Aspen fest

Sheryl Crow and Lucinda Williams have been added to the lineup of Janus Jazz Aspen Snowmass’ 10th annual Labor Day Festival, Sept. 3-6. The Snowmass Town Park is home to the festivities.Singer/guitarist Crow will make her only summer appearance in Colorado on Saturday during the Labor Day festival. She burst upon the scene in 1994 with “Tuesday Night Music Club” and has followed her debut with hit after hit, including the huge “If It Makes You Happy.”Crow follows David Byrne, the former Talking Heads frontman and an established solo artist in his own right, on the Sept. 4 bill.Grammy Award-winner Lucinda Williams will headline on Monday, Sept. 6, with two opening acts still to be announced. Williams first broke through with her acclaimed 1998 folk-rock album “Car Wheels on a Gravel Road.”Four-day passes for the Labor Day Festival are available for $125 until June 28. Single-day tickets for Friday, Sept. 3, are on sale now for $35.
