CSU seedling tree program under way

The 2007 Seedling Tree Program is under way at the Summit County CSU Cooperative Extension. The purpose of this annual program is to encourage the planting of native seedling trees to create wildlife habitat, promote growth on bare slopes and prevent erosion. You must own at least one acre of land in order to purchase seedling trees, and they must not be used in ornamental or landscape plantings.Trees are available in bare root (lots of 50 for $31) or small and large potted (lots of 30 for $27 and $43.80). Order now for the best selection. Trees will be available for local pick-up on May 9.
