CSU wildlife masters are ready to help

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Summit County’s wildlife is out and about – and we don’t mean the human variety! If you have conflicts or questions concerning wild animals, information is only a phone call away. Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Wildlife Masters are trained to help you make informed decisions on managing wildlife conflicts by providing unbiased, research-based information on a wide variety of wildlife issues. Whether you have a wildlife problem or simply want information on a wildlife subject, call the Wildlife Master Consumer Information line at (970) 668-2987. A Wildlife Master volunteer will return your call as soon as possible. For more information on the Wildlife Master Program, please call (970) 668-3595.

As a Summit Daily News reader, you make our work possible.

Summit Daily is embarking on a multiyear project to digitize its archives going back to 1989 and make them available to the public in partnership with the Colorado Historic Newspapers Collection. The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference.
