CU-Boulder to award nearly 5,300 degrees on May 8

BOULDER ” Nearly 5,300 students will get degrees at the University of Colorado-Boulder commencement next month.

CU says says more than 4,250 students will get bachelor’s degrees, more than 780 will get master’s, 150 will get law degrees and 95 will get doctoral degrees.

The ceremony is May 8 at Folsum Field. Commencement speaker will be John Roberts, co-anchor of CNN’s “American Morning.”

Honorary degrees will be given to business executive Thomas F. Marisco, conductor and pianist Martin Isepp, advertising and marketing executive Alexander Bogusky and writer John Barth.
