Cub Scouts looking for new members

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The local pack of the Cub Scouts will meet Sept. 15 at Summit Cove Elementary, offering an opportunity for kids to learn about and sign up for the organization.

Boys in grades 1-5 are welcome to join. Scout leader Gary Morgan said they’ll do all kinds of things ranging from sports, scholastic activities, camping, learning to tie knots and learning about citizenship and civic duty.

The pack meeting is set for 6:45 p.m. on the 15th. For those who can’t make it or want more information, contact Morgan at (970) 468-1457.

Some scholarship money is available for those who need it.
