Customer will fly if Frisco kicks out Osprey Adventures

I have been a customer of Osprey Adventures Inc. at the Frisco Bay Marina for the past seven years.

During that time I have enjoyed renting, then buying and now storing my boat there year round. Since first going to the marina, I have come to know each and every one of the people who work there.

The knowledge of the employees and quality customer service is a rarity to find in a transient community such as Summit County’s. The consistency of the high standards that Osprey operates the marina by would be difficult to duplicate.

If Frisco were to terminate Osprey’s contract and operate the marina as a town facility, the marina would lose much of why I use that marina and spend my money in Frisco.

Frisco as a community is growing much like Breckenridge. The community of Frisco however has retained that small town feel that Breckenridge is fast losing.

I ask that the town renew Osprey Adventures’ contract. The town’s tax dollars could be better spent turning the marina into a town facility or putting another concessionaire in place.

I don’t want to see another “Denver goes West” for the summer as it is at the Dillon Marina. The Dillon Marina has its place, but give us choices. Please keep the marina the jewel that it is.
