Dale H. Fay: Don’t let bad apples ruin parade

Dale H. Fay

I am sorry that the family of Traci Clark had a bad experience at the July 4 Breckenridge parade. I hope that she will reconsider entering next year’s parade.

The parade has greatly improved in recent years with more ingenuity and participation.

The spectators have increased manyfold, which is very gratifying to those of us who go to great effort to make a good showing of patriotism.

Perhaps a little more patrolling of the crowd would keep better control of the children who throw things and ride their bikes among the parade participants on foot.

Don’t let a few bad apples get you down, Traci. Hang in there!
