Daniel Troy Mehl dies May 15 in Frisco

Daniel Troy Mehl, 43, formerly of Salina, Kan., died May 15 in Frisco. Dan was employed as a chef at Copper Mountain. Dan was preceded in death by his natural father, Donald T Lohmann and adopted father, John W. Mehl. He is survived by his mother, Donna Blomster and husband Bob of Clearwater, Fla., stepmother Carol Lohmann of Lincoln, Kan., sisters, Shelia Guyer and husband Paul of Topeka, Kan., Dana Lohman of Largo, Fla., Kelly Piersee of Salina and Dawn Hefner and husband Bill of Topeka. Dan’s brothers, Kent Lohmann and Kevin and Shane Mehl of Topeka, William and Michael Mehl of Ellsworth, Kan., and several nieces and nephews.

Dan will be greatly missed by his family and all of his friends. A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
