Denver destination travel analyst gives itself a makeover
Beginning June 1, the company long known as the Mountain Travel Research Program, or MTRiP, will be called DestiMetrics, according to a company news release.
The name change was approved to better reflect the company’s business model and create a foundation for broader destination travel metrics and analytics, both in core mountain markets and in newer warm-weather destination markets.
DestiMetrics Resort Intelligence, LLC, based in Denver, combines “Destination” markets and benchmarking “Metrics” to reflect the unique business services offered by the company.
Although the name, website and email addresses are changing, there will be no change to the organizational structure, staff or commitment to serving the destination mountain travel industry, according to the release.
