Denver man killed in SUV accident near tunnel

CLEAR CREEK – A Denver man was killed early Wednesday morning after his sport utility vehicle rolled over about two miles east of the Eisenhower Tunnel.According to Colorado State Patrol (CSP) Trooper Eric Wynn, the man was ejected when his 2002 Toyota rolled over the center median and into the westbound lanes of Interstate 70.The accident happened at about 7:15 a.m.The eastbound lanes of I-70 were closed for about an hour while CSP was investigating the accident.CSP is not releasing the man’s name pending notification of next of kin.
