With a strong snowpack in Summit County this winter, Denver Water says it expects the Dillon Reservoir to fill this season.
Denver Water wrote in a newsletter this week that the snow water equivalent in the Blue River Basin is around 114% of the historical median.
The utility company wrote that it’s keeping a close eye on weather and snowpack conditions in its system and is “reasonably confident” its system-wide reservoir storage will fill in 2025, allowing the Dillon and Frisco marinas to open on time.
