Dillon appoints new cross connection inspector

The Town of Dillon is making sure the town’s water system is maintained to the highest possible standards. The town’s cross connection inspector, Joe MacDonald, certified to perform backflow assembly testing and inspections of premises to maintain compliance with state law, will be visiting properties in Dillon to verify compliance and certification of the system.

Systems without current certification may be certified by any state certified tester or by the Town of Dillon. The costs of certification through the Town is up to 50 percent less than commercial testing however the Town cannot test fire suppression systems. The Town expects to have all devices in the town inspected, tested and certified.
