Dillon businesses pass alcohol compliance check

DILLON – Nine businesses in Dillon passed a recent alcohol compliance check orchestrated by the Dillon Police Department and the Summit County Police Explorers. The Explorers, who are all under the age of 21, attempted to buy liquor at all the businesses to verify the establishments were complying with local and state liquor laws.Dillon Dam Brewery, Dillon Ridge Liquors, City Market, High Mountain Billiards, Lake Dillon Liquors, Lakeside Bowling, Maxwell St. Grill & Pizzeria, Ruby Tuesday and Wild Bill’s Pizza Saloon all properly identified the underaged customers.
