Dillon Cemetery to host Memorial Day ceremony

The local Elks Lodge, the Summit County Rotary Club, the Summit County Boy Scout Troop and the local Cub Scout Troop will be among those participating

The Dillon Cemetery will once again host a Memorial Day ceremony to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States, according to a news release from the town government.

The Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 26, with participation from the local Elks Lodge, the Summit County Rotary Club, the Summit County Boy Scout Troop and the local Cub Scout Troop. The Rocky Mountain Brass Quintet of the Summit Concert Band will also be performing.

The Memorial Day ceremony is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring old flags to have them properly retired.
