Dillon closed the lake loops on the Dillon Reservoir for the season Tuesday, March 11, because “weather has deteriorated conditions,” Town Manager Nathan Johnson said.

The lake loops opened in late January this year.

Johnson said construction of a new boat ramp at the Dillon Marina, which is expected to begin at the end of March, would have also necessitated the closure of the lake loops. Areas of the marina parking lot near the existing boat ramp will be closed as the new ramp is installed, he said.
