Dillon Planning and Zoning to vote on town hall parcel subdivision
summit daily news
The Dillon Planning and Zoning Commission will host a public hearing followed by a vote on a proposed subdivision of the town hall parcel at 5:30 tonight at town hall.
The parcel currently encompasses an area including town hall, the adjacent parking lot and a portion of the town park. Town hall is being used as collateral as part of a financing deal for improvements to the Dillon Marina, and the town did not want to include part of the park in the deal, according to town planner Beverly Kaiser. The portion of the park being sectioned off will become its own parcel.
The commission will also have discussions on subdivision requirements amendments and the comprehensive plan update in 2011.
