Dillon Police Department investigating discharged firearm during alleged fight in Dillon early Sunday morning
On Sunday, May 25, 2025, officers from the Dillon Police Department responded to a report of a fight involving a weapon at approximately 2:12 a.m. near 135 Main St.
Upon arrival, Dillon officers, with the assistance of multiple surrounding law enforcement agencies including Frisco Police Department and Silverthorne Police Department, secured the scene and initiated an investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that a firearm was discharged into the air during the altercation, according to the Dillon Police Department.
One adult male suspect was taken into custody at the scene. No injuries related to the incident have been reported at this time. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Dillon Police Department at 970-468-6078.
