The Lake Dillon Theatre is holding auditions for “Surviving Grace” by Trish Vrandenburg at 6 p.m. Monday at the theater in Dillon.The play examines the physical and emotional problems that Alzheimer’s sufferers and their families face. The semiautobiographical comedy-drama focuses on Kate, a busy sitcom producer who is devastated when she discovers that her mother, Grace, is dying of Alzheimer’s. Like most sufferers, Grace experiences dementia and forgets how to do basic tasks, fears death and nursing homes, and struggles with mixed prognoses from doctors. Roles include four females, ages 30-60 and three males, two in their 30s and one in his 60s.Call (970) 543-9386 to reserve a script or for an appointment to audition.
