Dillon to hold community clean-up day next month

The town of Dillon is inviting residents, visitors and businesses to participate in the Dillon Community Clean-Up Day in May.
The town will provide all of the necessary materials for participants such as trash bags and gloves, while community members will provide the volunteer pool. Volunteers will meet at town hall in the morning to pick up refreshments, supplies and head out to clean the town. Clean-up areas include the lakefront, Town Center, cemetery, parks and roads.
Following the work portion of the day, volunteers will also get a chance to play at a picnic after the event, featuring live music and free beer. The event will take place on May 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
