Dillon Valley’s Evergreen Rd. to reopen Wed. afternoon

Daily News staff report

Evergreen Road will reopen to two lanes of traffic at approximately 1 p.m. today according to the Dillon Valley Metropolitan District. Traffic into and out of Dillon Valley will resume on Evergreen Road following the completion of repairs to a failed waterline. The Town of Dillon was assisted in this emergency by allowing traffic exiting Dillon Valley to be diverted to Little Beaver Trail via one lane. Little Beaver Trail will remain closed to all traffic following the water main repair to allow for the Town of Dillon to construct measures to allow for the temporary re-opening of Little Beaver Trail for the winter season by next week. Little Beaver Trail will close again after the winter season for the permanent repair of the failed slope. For more information contact the Town of Dillon at 970-468-2403.
