Disc dogs come to Breck Saturday


The Colorado Disc Dogs invite all dogs and their owners to join them for a morning filled with high-flying frisbee dog action on Sautrday, July 7, at Carter Park in Breckenridge.The competition starts at 9:30 a.m., and is open to the public. Competitors will compete in three divisions – Novice, Intermediate and Open. Novice and Intermediate divisions will compete in timed mini-distance and accuracy. Open competitors will compete in 90-second freestyle routines set to music and one round of timed mini-distance and accuracy. A small entry fee applies to each divisionThis event is also a stop on the UFO World Cup tour.The Colorado Disc Dogs are a group of frisbee dog enthusiasts who run competitions, play days and training seminars each year so that Colorado dog owners can enjoy the fun that playing with a frisbee dog can bring. Among our ranks are Regional and World Finalists, a National Champions, National Distance Champion, and the reigning World Cup Champions.
