Doc PJ to address Tale Spinners Monday

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The speaker for the Monday meeting of Tale Spinners will be Craig Perrinjaquet, M.D. (“Doc PJ”). The title of his talk is “Third World Medicine.”Doc PJ recieved his B.A. from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa in 1976 and his M.D. from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1981. His Internship was at the University of Iowa Medical Center in 1982, after which he recieved a MPH from Harvard and took a residency in Family Practice from 1983 to 1985. Most recently, he took a sabatical and completed a diploma course at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.Doc PJ has extensive experience in third world medicine having served periods of patient care in Vanuatu, India, Nepal, Native American reservations, Sri Lanka, multiple African countries and many trips to Central America. He has been in the practice of Family and Sports Medicine in Breckenridge since 1985.The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Frisco Community and Senior Center (bring your own brown bag lunch).
