Dodgeball tournament to benefit local family

Summit High School’s service learning and character development class will host the Second Annual Off the Wall Dodgeball Tournament tonight at 5 p.m. at the Farmer’s Korner school. The event is a fundraiser for the Walters family, which is burdened with medical bills due to serious injuries son and former student Jimmy Walters sustained in a recent accident. The charge to watch the tournament is $2 for students with a school ID and $4 without an ID. The teams are already registered, so there is no opportunity for drop-in play.
