Does Minor understand what makes our resort community tick?

Alex JohnsonBreckenridge

I’m sitting on my deck that overlooks Highway 9 near Tiger Run RV Resort and am watching many of Summit County’s finest pull over just about every vehicle leaving Breckenridge through the use of an aggressive DUI checkpoint. With the new election coming up, I can’t help but wonder if Sheriff John Minor really understands the workings of American law.He apparently believes that all people are guilty of driving drunk and must prove their innocence. Does he understand what our economy is based on? You do not pull over the guests of your community and make them prove their innocence. Minor continues to show behavior of extreme authoritarian control toward the citizens of our county and our guests. I urge all voters to seriously consider if he is the man we want representing Summit County’s law enforcement.Alex JohnsonBreckenridge
