Dog poop season?

George Tranelberg, Frisco

While most mountain communities have a mud season, that time of year could be better described as “dog poop” season in Frisco. As the melting snow exposes a winter’s worth of dog dumping, it also reveals a great deal about a significant segment of the Frisco population. Anyone who allows their dogs to freely foul our community is showing utter contempt for their neighbors, our town, and the environment. Ironically, these jerks are many of the same individuals who profess great love for our mountain environment. I personally don’t like picking up dog poop and I don’t want to be walking a dog during a Frisco winter – that’s why I choose not to own a dog. Am I the only one that finds a big dog pile on the sidewalk or bike path to be utterly disgusting?
