Don’t listen to the eco-freaks

Remember in the 1980s when the bumper stickers read “Frankly Scarlett, we don’t need a dam” or showed two forks with a circle and a line through them?

The eco-freaks purred with delight at their quashing of the Two Forks Dam, the intelligent provision for Colorado’s growth. Well, now we’re paying the price.

Thank God for state Sen. John Andrews and his pushing of Senate Bill 236 to expand reservoirs. It would have been less than the $2 billion it’s now going to take if we had not listened to the eco-freak Democrats 20 years ago. Let’s not listen now when they reel out their same bankrupt approach.
