Doug Malkan should kick back; send Front Range drivers to Iraq

Doug Malkan: “howzabout’ just kicking back, have a seat and enjoy your membership in the Green Party while this interesting story unfolds.

You, of all people, have a special editorial filter at work, and I’m not sure this story really concerns the Summit County Peace and Justice Coalition.

If you could step back, you’d realize that your “peace” flag is little more than a whitewashing of the militant, cowboy-political, all-consuming (consuming all) national image that most countries have come to make of us.

Don’t turn this into politics. There’s enough to go around.

By the way, I just drove up from Boulder last Friday morning and a thought occurred to me. I’ve felt for a long time that our troops in Iraq should be home.

Now, I’ve a solution. Let’s replace them with certain Front Range drivers that like to work fast, go hell-bent and are some of the scariest people I’ve ever seen, regardless of what Adam Aron thinks.
