BRECKENRIDGE – With more than 7,250 rubber ducks flying down the Blue River for The Summit Foundation Great Rubber Duck Race in Breckenridge Saturday, the annual fundraiser was a hit.

“The duck race had great weather, great attendance and it was a success,” said executive director Lee Zimmerman.

Though Zimmerman doesn’t have the final tally on how much money was raised, he expects numbers to be good.

According to The Summit Foundation, Leah Gard was the winner of the Kids Duck Dash, Eide Bailly won the FirstBank Business Battle Race and Sue Luginbill took home the grand prize for the Great Rubber Duck Race. Luginbill won seven nights’ lodging in a two-bed suite in Orlando, Fla.

For more information on all the other winners, contact The Summit Foundation at (970) 453-5970. Prizes can be picked up at 111 Lincoln Ave., Breckenridge.
