Eagle County deputies use CPR to revive man

EAGLE ” A man is receiving treatment in a Denver hospital for a broken neck after being revived with CPR by Eagle County sheriff’s deputies.

The Eagle County sheriff’s department says Deputy Corey Bruce discovered the man at an apartment early Sunday, surrounded by friends who were trying to rouse him up.

The man, whose name was not released, had fallen on his neck and wasn’t breathing and had no pulse when deputies arrived.

Bruce and Deputy Scott Hendrickson performed CPR. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly say the man had a faint pulse and was breathing when transported to a hospital.

Cordingly says the man was receiving treatment Sunday afternoon.
