Easter eggs abound in Frisco on Sunday


The Frisco Chamber of Commerce is proud to once again sponsor the Fourth annual Frisco Easter Egg Hunt. Children of all ages are invited to hunt for candy stuffed eggs.There will be a special storyteller and indoor hunt for children less than 3 years old inside town hall located at First and Main streets. An area for children from 4 to 6 years old will be set up on the lawn outside of town hall. Children ages 7 to 11 will search out eggs in the Historic Park located at Second Avenue and Main Street. All older children will travel between Madison and Third Avenue on Main Street to find eggs.This event is free to all children. The Frisco Chamber expects 300 to 400 participants and asks all parents to limit egg collection to eight per child to insure that there are plenty of eggs for all participants.Main Street in Frisco will be closed to traffic 10:30 a.m. to noon from Madison to Third Avenue. The Frisco Police Department will be closely monitoring the closure for the safety of the children who will be collecting eggs and encourages all motorists to plan alternate routes during the Easter Egg Hunt. Anyone driving in the affected area on Main Street are asked to be extra cautious around the children at play.For more event information, call the Visitors Information Center at (970) 668-5547.
