Ed Hatfield dies in Denver

Edward “Ed” Hatfield, formerly of Alma, died April 4 in Denver. He was 53.

Ed was born April 23, 1956 in Denver to Robert and Gladys Hatfieldand and was raised in Georgetown. He was the owner of Ed Hatfield Painting of Alma. He was married in Breckenridge to Patti Carr Hatfield and had a stepson, Jacob.

Ed is survived by Patti and Jacob; sisters Robin Dasch; nephews, Jesse Hatfield, Terry Hatfiled and James Dasch; nieces Jennifer Shearer and Melanie Hatfield; great nieces Zaylie Harmon and Elora Shearer; and great nephew Gavin Hatfield. He was preceded in death by both parents and older brother Ernest.

His ashes will join his brothers this summer above Georgetown.
