Education Celebration will be at Beaver Run Resort

The 6th annual Summit Education Celebration banquet will be held May 12 at Beaver Run Resort.The Summit Education Celebration is a community-sponsored and community-organized event led by the Business-Education Alliance that recognizes all Summit School District and Colorado Mountain College employees by inviting them to a special evening, which includes a banquet, awards ceremony and school showcase video. In the past, over 300 education staff members have attended the event. The community can help with the event in the following ways:– Attend the event – Attendees can pay tribute to current employees as well as retiring staff. The cost is $30 per guest for dinner and drinks. Those planning to attend should call Karen Mason at (970) 668-3011.– Sponsor an educator – With a $50 donation, community members can help cover the cost of dinner for one educator. Checks should be made payable to Business-Education Alliance, Inc. and mailed to SEC 2005, c/o Business-Education Alliance, Inc., P.O. Box 4755, Frisco, CO 80443.– In-kind sponsorship – Anyone can donate a door prize for the event, including gift certificates or merchandise. Contributions should be mailed to SEC 2005, c/o Business-Education Alliance, Inc., P.O. Box 4755, Frisco, CO 80443. Donors can also call Karen Mason to arrange for pick-up. Sponsorships and contributions are tax-deductible.
