Edwards: Won’t go back to Breck

Can someone tell me why there are no daily discounts for lift tickets to Breckenridge? Last week I spent a week staying at a lodge in Breckenridge, but I couldn’t afford to ski there … instead I stopped and purchased 10 gallons of gas at the local Shell station and went to Copper Mountain to ski on a buy-one-get-one-free lift ticket. While in Copper we ate lunch and purchased hats and T-shirts, we also stopped at the local Cooper convenience store to buy drinks for the ride back to Breckenridge. Why does Breckenridge choose to force families to ski other places due to lift ticket costs? My only option next year is to stay at Copper Mountain where costs are more reasonable and family friendly.
