Election process stinks

Steve Gross

Silverthorne Councilmember Dave Koop is always complaining about the lack of people who show up to Silverthorne Town Council meetings. After the recent vote against John Sabal, what does he expect since they don’t listen to us anyway?

Mr. Sabal missed out by only 10 votes in the council member election, which wasn’t even three months ago. None of the other candidates for the open council seat even ran for the office in April. Karla Trippe hasn’t even lived here for more than three years. What more do we need to do to get the town to listen to us?

The whole process stinks.
