Elizabeth Anderson: Thumbs-up to dual language program

Re: Skeptical of dual language program, 9/3/9

As a parent of a third and fourth grader at Dillon Valley Elementary, both in the dual-language program since its inception, I would like to state that I feel my children are thriving. I am a strong proponent of the program and the teachers who lead these children. I suppose the reason we do not have a dual-language program in German is that we do not have the population base to support it. I feel there is more than one way to develop caring learners and in the meantime they have all my support and admiration.

Thank you Dillon Valley Elementary and to the school board for your creative thinking.
