Elizabeth Cline: Skip the bus and walk in Breckenridge

As I read Diane Jaffee’s letter regarding the (free) bus issue she has in Breckenridge, I had one thought: Just walk! As long as I have skied Breckenridge I ride the buses rarely, if ever. From the same area on French Street that Ms. Jaffee has had her issues, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the gondola in ski boots. It is nice because not only do I not have to time my arrival around a bus schedule, but I get a warm-up on the way too!

The only time that my method is not so much fun is when I have to hike the hill back up to the ice rink at the end of my day, but hey I need the exercise! Ms. Jaffee, instead of continuing to get mad about this issue, try a quick warm up on the way to the slopes!
