English tourist found dead in hotel room

SUMMIT COUNTY – Christopher Callingham, 45, was found dead by his 17-year-old son Friday morning in his room at the Great Divide Lodge in Breckenridge. According to Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson, Callingham and his son were visiting Breckenridge from Newbury, England on a ski vacation. Richardson said the scene was consistent with natural circumstances. An autopsy has been ordered to determine cause of death.Callingham’s son returned to England Saturday.Cause of Saturday Silverthorne death unclearA 25-year-old Silverthorne woman was found dead at home by her mother Saturday morning. The woman’s name was not reported.Summit County Coroner Richardson said no foul play is suspected, and an autopsy has been ordered. Silverthorne woman killed in car accidentGRAND COUNTY – Silverthorne resident Marcia Scyzgial, 50, died Thursday morning in a head-on collision on Highway 9 south of Kremmling.According to a Colorado State Patrol news release, Scyzgial was driving northbound near mile marker 129 when her 2003 Honda mini-van skidded into oncoming traffic, hitting a 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by Peter Vandecarr of Steamboat Springs.Scyzgial, an employee of MiZuppa restaurant in Frisco, was pronounced dead at the scene. Vandecarr and David Jefferson, also of Silverthorne, were transported to Kremmling Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities said there was no indication of drug or alcohol impairment.
