Logo submissions should be finished quality and should also meet the following guidelines:

• The logo should not exceed three colors.

• The logo should incorporate frequencies “102.1 & 102.7” “KSMT The Mountain” and relevance to the 40th anniversary.

• Art is suggested to incorporate our mountain community and/or music but is not limited to those ideas.

Summit County radio station KSMT “The Mountain” will celebrate its 40th anniversary over the next year, with the actual 40th anniversary falling on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015. The station is holding a KSMT “The Mountain” 40th anniversary logo design contest and is encouraging local artists, designers or art enthusiasts to submit designs to the contest. Final submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, and should tie into the 40th anniversary theme.

The logo design contest winner will receive recognition and visibility on KSMT’s website, on KSMT-FM and in posters, banners, sponsorship print materials, news releases, events, promotions and apparel for the 2015 event.

Thursday, Jan. 1, kicks off a yearlong 40th celebration of KSMT its presence in Summit County.

KSMT “The Mountain” offers listeners AAA Rock format, local news, weather, road conditions, seasonal reports and specialty local programming, including the Friday Funk Show, Eggs Over Irie, DC’s Hip Hop Show, Rhythm Lounge and What’s on Tap.
