On Dec. 31, laugh your way into the new year with an evening of magic and comedy with Mac King from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Keystone Conference Center. Mac King is renowned in the world of comedy and magic and currently performs a show at Harrahs Casino in Las Vegas. Tickets are $30 for general seating and $10 for children under 5.The Torchlight Parade in River Run begins at 9 p.m. with a mass of neon colors taking the limelight. Watch Keystones Ski and Ride Instructors zigzag in flowing fashion, creating a wave of light flowing down to River Run Village. Then catch the annual fireworks display in River Run Village.Also, the 13th Annual Chocolate Village is on display in the lobby of the Keystone Lodge through the holidays.

Ring in the new year Breckenridge-style with a torchlight parade and spectacular fireworks display on Dec. 31. Enjoy a 40-year-old Breckenridge tradition at 6 p.m. as skiers and boarders from the Breckenridge Ski Resort kick off the evening with a dazzling luminary procession, parading from the top of Peak 9 down American to The Village at Breckenridge. The best views of this parade are from anywhere you can see Peak 9. At 9 p.m. catch the brilliant fireworks display at Peak 9. With clear skies, these fireworks can be seen from most locations in downtown Breckenridge. Tune into KSMT – The Mountain at 102.1 FM to enjoy music set to the fireworks.

Join Copper for a New Years Disco evening. Burning Stones Plaza will be transformed into the old 54 featuring the band Disco Mountain. Check out the big screen with true Studio 54 clips and a spectacular torchlight parade put on by the Copper Ski & Ride School.Schedule of events: 6-9 p.m. Ben the Black and White Juggler Performs in the Village 6-10 p.m. Outdoor Studio 54/Disco clips on the big screen at Burning Stones Plaza. Three bonfires throughout the village. 6:30 p.m. Torchlight parade with the Copper Ski & Ride School on Main Vein Run 7-7:30 p.m. Copper Freeride Team Pipe Show on the Main Vein Superpipe 7:45 p.m. West Lake Fireworks Display 8-10 p.m. Disco Mountain concert at Burning Stones Plaza 9-9:15 p.m. Disco Mountain Dance Contest 10-10:15 p.m. New Years Eve fireworks display over the mountainAt the Copper Conference Center: Enjoy a relaxed party atmosphere with a live band, dinner and cocktails. Dance the night away to the live band, Carli & The Reactions while counting down to the New Year. Carli and the Reactions plays songs from the 20s to the present including styles like swing, jazz, funk, R&B, oldies rock, as well as modern pop and country. The Summit Seniors Foundation presents New Years In New York on Dec. 31 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Celebrate the new year at 10 p.m. (midnight in New York) with live music by Rusty Nail, refreshments, door prizes and dancing. Only 110 tickets available at $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Event will be held at the Frisco Recreation Building on 3rd Avenue. Purchase tickets at the seniors office at County Commons or by calling Charlotte Clarke at (970) 668-8672.
